Hi!
Today I would like to take a minute to introduce you to a couple of Aussie businesses that also Dream to Achieve – meet our sponsors, both crafters following their dreams. who have kindly donated some ‘goodies’ for us to enjoy as we make our quilts. Welcome to Alan and Norma!
I should add that I am not receiving any monies from either of these businesses – I have in fact been a customer to both – it is you, who will receive the goodies!
Firstly, we have Alan’s Pen Making!
Now don’t let the name fool you – yes, Alan does make pens but I purchased some Seam Rippers from Alan’s Pen Making and LOVED them! You can read about it here.
Alan takes great pride in his workmanship and along with his wife, Lana, provides a fast, fuss-free service. When I contacted Alan and Lana to ask if they would like to be involved, they didn’t hesitate – Thank you!!!
So, just click here and check out the range of lovelies and PLEASE tell them that you are visiting from the Quilt Along and give them a LIKE!!!
Secondly we have A1Craftandquilting which is run by Norma. I first met Norma at a Motorhome rally and was intrigued watching her use an Accuquilt Cutter. Now you know that I have chronic back/neck pain and so I drooled every time I saw a cutter in action until at last I took the plunge and purchased my own GO Cutter from Norma. What a wealth of knowledge this woman is and her customer service is second to none! Once again, dont let the name throw you – Norma has a whole range of things designed to make our cutting, sewing, crafting and quilting experience better and if you have any of those UFO’s flying around , Norma also does quilting!
Once again, Norma responded to my request with a “YES” and has sent a parcel of interesting goodies for us to share!
So, click here and go visit Norma and tell her you are visiting from the Quilt Along and give her a LIKE! Then make a cuppa and take a look at Norma’s web page to see the range of goodies that she can provide.
What does all of this mean to us?
It means that you will have the opportunity to become the new owner of these items by simply participating in the ‘Dream to Achieve’ Quilt Along!! All you have to do is, after you have completed each step/tutorial, take a photo and share it!! You can share it on the Facebook page or the Flickr page and each time, I will choose someone at random to receive a gift! Easy isn’t it!!! (Of course I would expect that you have visited Alan and Norma and given them a like!!!)
I have never done this before either, so I guess we are learning together in more ways than one. So please don’t get frustrated – if a link doesn’t work or even if you are not sure of how to do this – just send me a message. I want this to be a fun thing for everyone and I want EVERYONE to be involved!
I will do a random selection tomorrow for the first gift package – make sure you have your photos up – all I need to see is a photo of your fabric choices!
Until next time
Nanny xx
